Learn the difference between extracting one weapon and extracting its manual to unlock DMZ Gunsmith purchasing.
A weapon is not its manual
Extracting a gun adds that weapon instance to your available gear. Extracting its Weapon Manual unlocks repeat purchasing through the FOB Gunsmith. The purchase still costs DMZ Cash. Losing a purchased instance is different from losing the ability to buy that weapon again.
From field pickup to FOB
Identify the manual’s weapon name, keep the actual manual item through extraction, then inspect the Gunsmith after returning. The FOB guide lists Gunsmith at DMZ level 10. A campaign weapon unlock or a Multiplayer player level should not be used as proof that the DMZ manual has registered.
Attachments after purchase
Weapon levels and compatible attachment unlocks are shared between MP and DMZ. That does not make a manual a free fully equipped loadout. Check the purchased weapon, your owned attachments and cash before deploying. The official guide does not establish guaranteed fixed spawns for every manual, so no fabricated location table is supplied.
