MW4 Kill Block: Layout Changes & Launch Modes

Understand the modular Westbridge Training Facility and distinguish launch Gunfight modes from later plans.

What changes between rounds

Kill Block is set in Westbridge Training Facility. The August preview describes two outer sections and a central combat area rearranged between rounds, with more than 500 configurations and clear, rainy or snowy conditions. Those are preview claims, not a set of routes tested by this site. Recheck the opening angle after every layout change.

Launch versus later modes

The October 21 launch notes list 3v3 and 10v10 Gunfight for Kill Block. Additional Core modes, including 6v6, are later plans. Do not infer launch 6v6 availability from the broader Core map count. Use the current in-game playlist to confirm what you can queue.

A useful first-round routine

Identify your starting cover, the central lane and the nearest alternate route. Communicate the changed structure to teammates instead of reusing the previous round’s callout blindly. A weapon choice should follow the available sightline, not an assumed permanent map size. See multiplayer basics for first-match preparation.
