MW4 Stranded Guide: Objectives, Codes & Exploration
Plan Stranded exploration, distinguish optional locks from objectives and find the correct bunker code reference.
Stranded is the tenth mission in the reported MW4 campaign sequence. This launch reference focuses on navigation and locks. It is not a fully tested route with screenshots for every objective. Puzzle and location spoilers follow.
Follow the current objective
Read the active objective before diverting to containers or collectibles. Optional exploration and the mission's required progression are different tasks. Use the in-game objective marker to resume the main route after a detour; an unopened optional lock is not by itself evidence that the mission is blocked.
When you reach a transition, check your current objective before leaving the area. Do not assume a collectible sweep has been saved just because you opened a container. Confirm progress in your own save or collection menu where available.
Identify the location before using a code
Community guides report separate codes for base camp, jamming-station areas, a village, farm fields and island locations. Open the Stranded codes table and match the location label. In particular, the small-island container and the island hidden bunker are separate entries.
The code table is a community-reported reference, not a promise that an image-free location label is sufficient to navigate from any checkpoint. Consult the linked map when the name does not match what you see.
Notes and supply crates
Track notes, yellow supply crates and opened locks as separate tasks. Use the notes directory, crate directory and saved checklist for reported locations and progress. Unresolved and moving records stay clearly marked. Avoid resetting progress or restarting the entire mission merely because a third-party count differs from your current screen.
If you are stuck
- Re-read the active objective and confirm you are at the intended location.
- Compare the location with the source map, rather than trying every listed code.
- Check whether the interaction needs another objective first.
- If the state appears broken, consult current official support and preserve the save before taking steps that could remove progress.
