Unlock and mode distinction
Unlock M4 at MP player level 14. In DMZ, carrying a found gun out gives an instance; the Weapon Manual system controls repeat purchasing. These are not interchangeable unlock routes.

Apex conversion
M4 Hurricane is the listed 5.7×28mm conversion and blocks Barrel and Magazine slots. The official promotional description and comparison graphic disagree about its fire-rate change, so an increase is not asserted here.
Build from compatible attachments
The base weapon lists Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser and Ammunition. Shared unlocks only apply where compatible. Start from a Gunny suggestion, inspect the Details screen and change one attachment at a time. These source values are not a tested best loadout or a TTK model.
