MW4 Early Access: Campaign, DMZ & Multiplayer

Check the October 16 campaign and October 20 DMZ windows, digital preorder eligibility and the difference from the beta.

Eligible digital preorders include campaign early access from October 16 and DMZ early access from October 20, 2026. These are separate from the multiplayer beta. The full release is October 23.

Campaign

Use the digital edition description in the storefront where you purchased the game to confirm eligibility. Campaign access does not grant an earlier date to every other mode. Once your entitlement is recognized and campaign content is installed, use the campaign menu. See the mission list to identify your next operation.

DMZ

The announced DMZ early access date is October 20. Check that the game account is linked to the purchasing platform, that the applicable DMZ content is installed, and that the offer is included in your edition. Keep campaign and DMZ installation status separate when troubleshooting.

Multiplayer

The multiplayer beta is a previous test window, not a current universal early-access entitlement. Do not buy a reseller's beta key on the assumption that it unlocks the full multiplayer game. Use your platform's full-release listing for launch availability.

Access problems

  1. Open the purchase record on the platform that sold the game and confirm the correct edition.
  2. Confirm the platform profile and linked Activision account; do not unlink accounts as a first troubleshooting step.
  3. Check installed mode packs and pending downloads, then restart the game after updates finish.
  4. Read the current service notice or contact official support with a redacted receipt. Never send account passwords or complete activation keys to a fan site.
