Platforms and installation
The official product listing includes PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, Battle.net, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. Check the edition and platform on the actual product page before buying. A purchase on one storefront should not be treated as an entitlement on every other storefront.
Install the current game content on the account that owns it, check available storage, and let required updates finish before your store's unlock time. An old beta installation is not proof that the full release is ready.
What to check before buying
Read the early access eligibility guide if you want to play before the full release. Read the Game Pass answer before subscribing specifically for MW4.
