Is MW4 on Game Pass at Launch?

No. MW4 is not included in Game Pass at its October 23, 2026 launch. The official Call of Duty announcement identifies Holiday 2027 for the Game Pass release. That is a future window, not a confirmed exact day.

What this means for launch

Do not subscribe on the assumption that an existing Call of Duty title in the catalog also includes MW4. Access to another installment, a beta or a different platform license does not establish ownership of Modern Warfare 4.

If you want to play at launch, check the standalone game listing and the exact platform edition. Read whether the item is the base game or an upgrade that requires the base game separately.

Does an upgrade grant access?

Do not assume a cosmetic or Vault upgrade provides the base game. Check its listed requirements. Digital preorder early-access benefits are also subject to the offer's eligibility; a subscription is not a substitute for a qualifying preorder.

When will it enter the catalog?

The announced window is Holiday 2027. We will replace this window only after an official dated announcement. Check the current catalog and subscription tier in your region before making a purchase decision.
