MW4 Perks & Loadout Rules: Three Slots, 18 Options

Look up the three Multiplayer perk slots, unlock levels and the difference from DMZ Traits.

Pick across three slots

The official Multiplayer setup uses three perk slots, each with six listed choices. Pick a compatible option in each slot rather than treating all 18 as a single unrestricted pool. Overkill enables two primary weapons; Hardline changes the base streak requirement. Equipment remains a separate selection.

Separate MP perks from DMZ Traits

Similar names can occur in DMZ Trait trees, but those use Dog Tag progression and their own selection/reset rules. Do not apply the MP level in this table to DMZ unlocks. Kill Chain’s official sentence is incomplete, so no additional exact score formula is inferred here.
