DMZ key-room guide
MW4 DMZ Counting Room Vault: Key & Casino Door Location
Find the Counting Room Vault on Heavenly Luck Casino’s ground floor. Check the key, follow the security-room route and distinguish the locked room from mission objectives.

Where is the Counting Room Vault?
Go to the ground floor of Heavenly Luck Casino in Cheongun Village, then find the room beyond the security office. You need the matching Counting Room Vault Key. This guide follows Joel Franey’s GamesRadar+ walkthrough and Josh Challies’ Prima Games directions, checked October 26, 2026; it is not a site-run extraction test.
The cover shows the exact door name, HEAVENLY LUCK CASINO COUNTING ROOM, with a LOCKED message. It identifies the room; it does not show a successful unlock or a key being awarded. Use the Hajin directory to orient yourself before entering the building.
How do you get the key?
GamesRadar+ and Prima Games name Operation Silent Ledger as a source of the key reward. If you have completed it, inspect your rewards and FOB Stash for the exact key before deploying. A mission name appearing on your HUD does not by itself prove you already received that reward.
Dexerto also reports keys found as random loot. These accounts can describe different acquisition routes; they do not establish a guaranteed enemy, container, farming spot or drop rate. This page does not recommend repeatedly visiting a high-threat area to force a key drop. Check the key you actually own using the key-description guide.
Route from the front entrance
Start at the casino’s main front doors. If you entered from a side entrance, return to the main lobby before following these turns:
- Enter and remain on the ground floor.
- Turn right into the corridor with barred/caged areas.
- Take the left-hand door before the main slot-machine floor, into the office with computers.
- Go to the far end of that office and read the locked door’s name. Use the matching key only after it identifies the Counting Room.
The directions agree across the two illustrated walkthroughs. The text prompt is the final check; being inside the correct casino is not enough to identify every locked door.
Which door or objective are you looking at?
Wide tables can be scrolled sideways.
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| Heavenly Luck Casino Counting Room on the door | Match it with the Counting Room Vault Key |
| A different room or lock name | Inspect that room’s own requirement; do not assume casino keys are interchangeable |
| A Silent Ledger generator or other mission objective | Follow the mission briefing separately; this page is a key-room route, not a complete Story Mission walkthrough |
| Upper floors instead of the computer office | Reorient at the main ground-floor lobby |
The source screenshot itself still shows a Silent Ledger objective. That HUD objective and the named locked door are separate pieces of information.
Loot and extraction
The published guides describe equipment containers and valuables inside; Dexerto states that there is no fixed reward. We do not promise a particular weapon, recipe, total payout or guaranteed profit. Inspect the actual contents and available backpack space.
Prepare a way out before spending time looting. The casino can contain hostile AI and other Operators. Use solo preparation for a low-cost deployment and FOB inventory rules to distinguish items in storage from those you are carrying. Having reached the room does not make its contents permanently yours.
If the door will not open
First confirm the key is in your deployed inventory, rather than left in the FOB Stash. Then compare its full name with the door prompt. If the names match but the interaction still fails, record the displayed message and check current known issues; these sources do not establish a universal workaround.
Do not substitute a Stranded campaign keypad answer or follow a casino mission marker as though it were a key-room marker. For campaign locks, use the separate campaign code reference.
