Separate FOB Orders, Story Missions, Dynamic Operations and Free Roam, then check objective and extraction requirements.
Three deployment choices
Story Missions provide directed narrative operations. Dynamic Operations are a separate deployment option. Free Roam lets you enter with a broader exploration plan. None of these is the single-player campaign mission list. At the FOB, the Orders station groups your current objectives into pages and shows their rewards.
Read the completion verb
Distinguish finding, carrying, using and extracting an item. If an order asks for extraction, picking it up alone is not completion. Check the target area and item wording, prepare the loadout, and revisit the Orders screen after a successful run to confirm the reward and next objective.
Build a manageable route
Combine objectives only when they share a sensible area and your carried items can support both. A key room, printer ingredient and Weapon Manual can compete for backpack space. Keep a route back to an active extraction instead of treating every nearby target as mandatory. Exact named mission prerequisites should be taken from your current Orders page; the official overview is not a full quest database.
