MW4 Shipment Release Date: October 27, Map & Playlist Status
Shipment arrives in MW4 on October 27. Check the confirmed 6v6 map, what remains unannounced about the start time and 24/7 playlist, and how to prepare.
When does Shipment come to MW4?
Shipment is scheduled for October 27, 2026, according to Activision’s October 21 maps-and-modes announcement. As of this page’s October 24 check, it is an upcoming post-launch Core 6v6 map, not one of the 12 Core maps available on October 23.
The announcement gives a date, but no precise activation hour or time zone. We cannot turn it into a reliable local countdown. This is a map addition, not the base game’s release date or confirmation that Season 1 begins that day.
What the official map preview shows
The setting is a Russian harbor container yard, bordered by water and concrete buildings. The official card shows container lanes, a burned-out vehicle and an overhead layout. Activision describes a familiar layout with MW4’s presentation improvements.
Use that image for orientation, not measured sightline distances or guaranteed spawn positions. We have not playtested the MW4 version before release. For another small-space format already described at launch, see Kill Block.

A map’s arrival and a dedicated playlist are different announcements. Check the in-game playlist and latest patch notes when the map goes live. The general list of launch modes does not prove every one will appear on Shipment.
How to find it when it launches
- Apply the game’s available update and reopen Multiplayer.
- Check featured playlists for Shipment and read their mode descriptions.
- If no dedicated list is shown, inspect the available map rotations rather than assuming the release has failed.
- If other modes are also missing or cannot launch, use known issues. On PC, a security error belongs in the attestation guide.
These are checks to perform after release, not a promise about the future menu order or a way to force the map into matchmaking.
Prepare a loadout without assuming a meta
Save a familiar M4 or Han 86 configuration and check its unlocks first. For a confined map, our editorial suggestion is to compare target acquisition and movement before choosing expensive or unfamiliar changes. No Shipment-specific best weapon, spawn trap or fastest camo method has been measured here.
